Understand trials and billing.
How trial length, payment method requirements, conversion, cancellation, and trial eligibility work for marketplace installs.
Trial length
Some marketplace workflows can include a free trial from 0 to 15 days. The listing shows the active trial length before install. A workflow with a 0 day trial starts paid billing according to the approved listing terms unless another promotion applies.
Payment method
A valid payment method can be required before trial start. Requiring a payment method does not change the free trial period, but it confirms the customer can convert to paid billing if the workflow remains installed after the trial ends.
Trial conversion
If you keep the workflow past the trial, billing converts according to the active listing terms and pricing snapshot approved at install time. Review the daily price, fixed 30-day equivalent when shown, publisher, workflow version, and cancellation terms before approving the install.
Cancel during trial
If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged for that trial period. The trial ends and the install is removed or disabled according to its current state. Any unrelated account charges, non-marketplace services, or already-accrued obligations outside that trial can still apply.
Trial eligibility
A customer receives one trial per workflow. Reinstalling the same workflow does not create a new trial, and switching accounts to repeat trial access can violate marketplace policy.
