Price marketplace workflows.

How publishers choose trial terms, daily prices, review justifications, and recommendation-engine inputs during Preview.

Pricing model

Marketplace workflow prices are stored per day. Customer-facing surfaces can also show a fixed 30-day monthly equivalent. The daily price is the binding value for marketplace billing, payout calculations, and review checks.

Floors and ceilings

  • Hard floor: $0.10/day.
  • Soft ceiling: $20/day. Prices above this level can trigger manual review or require additional justification.
  • Hard ceiling: $100/day. Prices above this level require manual NW Agentic approval before publication.
  • Trial length: 0 to 15 days.

Recommendation engine

The pricing recommendation engine is advisory. It helps publishers choose defensible launch pricing, but publishers are responsible for the final submitted price and for any justification requested during review.

During cold start, recommendations can consider agent count, graph size, integration count, premium integration category, restricted-category designation, estimated execution cost, permission breadth, human-in-the-loop steps, and operational complexity.

As marketplace data grows, recommendations can incorporate comparable workflow pricing, install conversion, trial conversion, retention, refund rate, chargeback rate, support burden, and customer satisfaction signals.

When to justify a price

Prepare a short justification when the workflow is above the soft ceiling, uses restricted-category logic, has unusually high execution cost, relies on expensive integrations, requires frequent human review, or is materially more complex than comparable workflows.

A useful justification explains the customer outcome, the workflow complexity, the support burden, and why the price is proportionate to the value delivered.

Trials

Trials can reduce adoption friction, but they also create support and abuse risk. A trial should be long enough for a customer to verify the workflow's value without encouraging repeated free use. NW Agentic can suspend or restrict trials if abuse is detected.

Price changes

Published workflow versions are immutable. Material price changes should be submitted as part of a reviewed update path. Existing customer installs can require explicit approval before a price increase applies.

What customers see

Customers should see the current price, trial length, permission manifest, publisher, version, and any restricted-category friction before install. Avoid copy that implies a workflow is free unless a trial or promotion actually applies.
